FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - According to our partner in news, the Journal Gazette, a Fort Wayne man is suing NIPSCO for negligence in the death of his wife.
Michael Betancourt alleges NIPSCO was negligent when it did not respond properly to the report of a smell of gas in his home on Corto Calle Street last March.
The explosion sent 55-year-old Janice Betancourt to Saint Joe's Burn Center, where she died a six-weeks later.
