FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The harsh winter weather had people flocking to pick up essential grocery items Tuesday.
Our crews visited a neighborhood grocery store and found dozens of people stocking up.
Shoppers say there's nothing more motivating than a snowstorm.
Shopper Donald Liechty says, “Yeah I wanted to get out and get what I could get before it got too bad. I probably had enough to last a week at home but a little more don’t hurt.”
Shopper Mo Gomez says, “Milk and juice for the three year old gotta have that or they would be having a heart attack or something.”
Employees say they worked non-stop for two hours yesterday re-stocking milk in preparation of the bad weather.
