ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - One of four young men from Adams County has pleaded guilty to participating in the robbery and homicide of A Wells County man.
According to our partner in news, the Journal Gazette, 18-year-old Cody Barkley cut a deal with prosecutors to testify against his three alleged co-conspirators.
In return, he'll plead guilty to conspiracy to commit armed robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.
Barkley's three co-defendants are charged with the same charge, along with murder and felony murder.
Police say the four fired a shotgun into 19-year-old Justin Sprow's car over a bad drug deal.
Sprow was hit in the head and died.
Barkley faces up to 30-years in prison when he's sentenced in October.
