WASHINGTON (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Companies that hire unemployed workers would get a tax break under a bill passed by the House Thursday.

The Jobs Bill includes billions of dollars in tax credits, and provides that businesses hiring unemployed workers will not have to pay the social security payroll tax.

Some Democrats feel the bill doesn't go far enough and lawmakers on both sides of the aisle say it won't do much to create new jobs.

The Senate already passed the measure.
