Erapsco Awarded Million Dollar Contract For Sonobuoys

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A Columbia City company has been awarded another military contract for Sonobuoys.

Leaders at Erapsco a defense contractor and partner with Ultra Electronics say the $34 million deal with the U.S. Navy involves devices that will support antisubmarine operations.

Some of the work will be performed in Columbia City, the rest in Florida.

The work is expected to be complete in March of 2012.
