FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - There is a desperate need for volunteer drivers to take cancer patients to chemotherapy, radiation and other medical care appointments.

The 'Road to Recovery' program pairs volunteer drivers with cancer patients who have no transportation available to them.

Volunteer Driver Tom Bolinger said, “I just feel likes it's a good thing for me to give back. Plus, I get so much out of it. I mean there's a certain amount of joy and feeling really good about it and connecting with these people that's why I do it.
