POINT LOOKOUT, Missouri (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The University of Saint Francis Cougars are a true 'Cinderella' team, winning the NAIA Basketball Championship.

Seeded 15th when the "NAIA Division Two" Men's National Tournament began last week. The Cougars ended on top, winning it all Tuesday night in a heart-stopper against top-seeded Walsh University of Ohio.

And at the very end, the Cougars go up 67- 66 with an easy layup in the last second after grabbing Walsh's inbounds pass.

Fan Bruce McNorton traveled 22 hours on a bus and said, “To watch our team win the first national championship in the school's history was great. I had to go out and support the guys. They always come out and support us in all the other sports.”

The Cougars will be welcomed home at 8 p.m. Wednesday night, at the Hutzell Center, when their bus arrives from Missouri.
