Warsaw Moves on to State; Carroll, Elmhurst and Southwood go Down

(Huntington)- For the second time this year Carroll had no answer for Nic Moore. The Junior had a game high 26 points and only missed three shots all day against the Chargers, Warsaw wins the 4A Semistate 58-53. Shane Merryman and Tyler Ault each had 16 in the loss. Carroll finishes up the season 21-4. Warsaw is back in the state finals for the first time since '96. The Tigers will play North Central in the 4A title game Saturday the 27th of March at 8:15 in Conseco Fieldhouse.

(Lafayette)- It has been an emotional and pressure filled run for the Elmhurst boys basketball team with the possibility of the school closing at the end of the year. The run came to an end in the 3A Semistate with a 57-47 loss to Gary Wallace. Pervis Hall had 17 points in the loss.
