Part of S.R. 101 Closed Monday For Construction

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Monday, S.R. 101 will be closed between U.S. 24 and S.R. 37 due to a bridge deck replacement project over Maumee River, weather permitting.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District announces an official detour route which is U.S. 24 to I-469 to S.R. 37 and back to S.R. 101.

The project should be complete by late June.

INDOT encourages motorists to drive with caution through the construction work zone.

R.L. McCoy submitted the low bid and was awarded the contract for $742,000.
