FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Former IU basketball standout Todd Leary will stand trial this summer for his role in a mortgage fraud scheme.
Leary is charged with 17 felony counts, including conspiracy, theft and corrupt business influence.
Even though Allen County Deputy Prosecutor Mike McAlexander was a victim of a mortgage fraud scheme involving one of Leary's associates. A judge has ruled there will not be a special prosecutor in Leary's case.
He's now scheduled to stand trial on July 20th.
