FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The TinCaps' opening day is only one week away and tickets are still available for next week's first pitch, but this week's warm weather spurred a rush at the box office.

And the TinCaps' Mike Lemmer says the opening game will amount to a victory lap after last season's championship.

Lemmer says, “We have the opportunity to kick off 2010, reminisce about the championship on 2009. Really celebrate what was because it happened so fast at the end of last summer. You know, be able to go back and look at what, really, we accomplished and what the team accomplished on the field and celebrate that over those three days. Thursday, Friday and Saturday of that opening weekend.

On Saturday you can tour the stadium and get two-dollar concessions.

And Wednesday, meet the new TinCaps at batting practice with an autograph session.
