FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Officials from Taylor University have reviled that a letter has been signed that could eventually lead to the purchase of the former Taylor University campus located on Fort Wayne's south side.

The preliminary agreement is between Taylor University and The Leona Group LLC. The result would be an educational partnership utilizing the property and buildings along West Rudisill Blvd.

The possible sale does not include the WBCL studio, the Fort Wayne Alumni and Friends Resource Center or the buildings on the north side of Rudisill.

Leona operates the Timothy L. Johnson School on Anthony Blvd. and over 60 other charter schools in the United States.
