INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Nipsco customers may see an increase in their gas rates for the first time in 20 years.
The gas company filed a Natural Gas Rate Case in attempt to extend programs that help reduce their gas usage and keep rate structures current.
The proposal will increase the average bill by one dollar and 67 cents a month.
Nipsco officials say the provisions will allow the company to maintain the state's lowest natural gas bills.
