UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) – Ohio toy company Step2 is recalling 2.5 million ride-on toy buggies.

The toymaker is recalling the Push Around Buggy and the Whisper Ride Buggy after reports of two children being seriously hurt when the handles of the toys became detached. 28 other children received minor scratches.

Buggies were sold in stores from August 1999 until March 2010.

Step2 asks consumers to stop using the toy immediately and contact the company for a free repair kit.
