FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne's General Motors Assembly Plant began its new third shift overnight.
About 900-new full-time employees will eventually work on the shift to produce more light-duty Chevy Silverado pickup trucks and a new line of GMC Sierra trucks.
GM had been working since September to set up the third shift and transfer workers to Allen County.
