EACS Budget Cuts: Lays Off 31 Teachers

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - East Allen County Schools voted Tuesday night to lay off dozens of teachers.

The unanimous decision will affect 31-teachers, half of them in elementary schools.

According to our partner in news, the Journal Gazette, some of them could be hired back by the end of the summer.

East Allen has been struggling to cut $4 million from its budget.
