FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - There are some serious concerns from current Fort Wayne Community Schools custodians about the company the system is making a deal to out-source with.

Indiana's NewsCenter received a link to a web site put together by the Service Employees International Union.

The site claims problems with SODEXO that include inadequate staffing, buildings not left properly secure, kickbacks to the company and meal counting errors that could jeopardize the national school lunch program.

Fort Wayne Community Schools officials say they are aware of the complaints.

Krista Stockman says, “The have provided us with a response and they addressed some of those issues. Each individual case is different. When you have a large company, sometimes things are going to work out and sometimes they aren’t. We feel confident in our situation that SODEXO is a good fit.”

Officials with the Service Employees International Union told us they would have someone who could speak on SODEXO on Thursday because everyone was gone by the time we were able to call for comment.
