FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman stopped in the Summit City Thursday morning to talk about her visit last week to China.

The trade mission to China discussed agricultural jobs and investment issues, to help lure Chinese business to the state.

On the flip side, during the trip, Skillman made a deal to supply Chinese movie theatres with Indiana-based Weaver Popcorn.

And Skillman says inroads have been made to help in other industries, as well.

Skillman says, “Should be of good news to Hoosiers, that even in China they recognize that Indiana is a fiscally sound state and an economically sound state, uh we have a business friendly environment and we are right for investment."

Skillman has made three other trips to China.
