WARSAW, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - One person is recovering at Parkview Hospital after he drove his semi tractor-trailer into the back of a stopped truck.

It happened Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 30 in Warsaw.

Police say the 44-year-old man was heading east when he slammed his rig into another one causing the two to then slid into a third.

The New York man had to be extricated from the cab of his semi and was flown to Parkview Hospital with multiple injuries.

He's been upgraded to fair condition.

The other two semi drivers were not hurt.
