FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- A ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday officially opened the new playground and picnic area at the Safety Village and Survive Alive House in Fort Wayne.
For years, young children have been learning about fire safety, school bus safety, bicycle safety and more in a hands-on environment designed specifically for them near the Public Safety Academy.
