FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Allen County Commissioners have declared a state of emergency, officially beginning the process of seeking federal disaster assistance.
Commissioner Nelson Peters says local damage would have to total more than $1.2 million and state damages would have to total more than $7 million to qualify for federal reimbursement, but he's confident Allen County will meet those requirements.
