NEW CASTLE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- A man has been arrested for the murder of a convicted child molester who was found at the bottom of a staircase at the New Castle Correctional Facility.

Last month, Jeremiah K Taylor, 37, was found unconscious at the bottom of a stairwell and was later pronounced dead at Methodist Hostpital in Indianapolis.

State Police Investigator, Scott Jarvis, completed his investigation of the incident and turned the case over to the Henry county Prosecutor's Office. The Prosecutor's Office reviewed the case and then issued a warrant for Class "A" Felony Murder for an inmate who had formerly been housed at the New Castle facility.

Taylor J. Baughn, 21, was moved to the Pendleton Correctional Facility shortly after the investigation into Taylor's death had begun. At the time of the incident, Baughn was serving a sentence out of Vanderburgh County for Child Molestation. He was due to be released this August.

Inmate Baughn has been arrested for the murder of inmate Taylor.
