ANGOLA, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- Angola's second hot air balloon invitational, took to the skies.
Thousands of people watched the 26 multi-colored balloons open the weekend festival which includes balloon competitions, helicopter rides, and kids games.
The coordinator, Phil Clinger, says a hot-air balloon ride is something everyone should try.
“Really, it's really hard to describe what it's like. Because it's very peaceful, it's very surreal and oddly enough the description that most people come to is scuba diving.”
Admission, parking, and the children's fair are free.
