ANGOLA, Ind. (21Alive) -- Angola Police are on the search for two men suspected of stealing the safe from a tractor supply store.

Angola Police Department say they received a call around 7:45 p.m. Friday about a possible robbery at the Tractor Supply Store on Harcourt and North Wayne St.

Employees of the store reported two black male subjects entered the store and removed a large safe from the office area. The suspects were spotted pushing the safe out of the back of the store near a loading dock.

According to witnesses, the suspects then dumped the safe into the bed of a white Chevrolet pickup truck and drove off westbound on Harcourt Rd.

The suspects were described as black males, one was approximately 6'4'' with a heavy build and the other was described as a little taller with a thinner build. Both were wearing work style jackets.

Authorities say that the amount of money taken is not known at this time. There were no injuries or threats made to the employees during the course of the robbery.

It is believed the suspects were in the area prior to the robbery. The Angola City Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed anything to call 260-665-2121.
