Annual Non-Profit Book Giveaway

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - For the second year in a row, Half-Price Books gave away two-boxes of books to each non-profit organization representative who showed up at the store with paperwork in hand.

Half-Price Books workers took in donated books for the project and then matched those donations one-for-one.

And the books make a big difference to organizations that rely on donations.

Huntington Catholic School Board Member Nicole Hahn says, “Nonprofit organizations, it's tough to stock libraries, so when we have the opportunity to get books from places like Half-Price Books, it's amazing to us because that helps us stock our library and make sure we have books for the kids to read.”

Officials with Half-Price Books say they plan to make this an annual event.
