FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Another police pursuit in Fort Wayne ends with a crash involving the suspect's vehicle. This was the second such incident of the day Monday.

It all started just before midnight. An officer was called to "George's Auto Repair" on the 1400 block of Spy Run Avenue after the security alarm was tripped.

Upon arrival, the officer noticed a vehicle pulling out of the garage. That vehicle then took off eastbound down Tennessee Avenue, when the officer tried to make contact with the suspect. The suspect's vehicle, which was later found out to be stolen, led police on a short chase which left a path of destruction in its wake.

According to police, the suspect hit a street sign, slammed into a parked car, and backed into a police squad before finally crashing into a utility pole near the intersection of Anderson Avenue and Griswold Drive.

Officers then arrested the suspect who they say is a 16 year old male. Investigators say several rings of keys and cash were found in the stolen vehicle. The incident remains under investigation. No one was seriously hurt in any of the crashes.
