ALBANY, N.Y. (www.incnow.tv) - A Federal lawsuit is filed against Aspen Dental Management and a private equity firm.
The suit claims the dental clinic "illegally operated dental clinics across the country and engaged in aggressive, misleading profit driven practices that caused patients economic harm."
According to court document papers filed the clinics "were violating laws that require clinics to be owned by dentist actively performing procedures on-site to prevent business interests from trumping those of patients."
Eleven people from eleven states are suing the dental clinic. Indiana and 21 other states currently have Aspen clinics in operation.
