AUBURN, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – On Friday, the employees of Metal Technologies in Auburn made a big donation to the DeKalb Community Impact Corporation's Covered with Love program.
The program provides backpacks filled with clothes, toys, books and personal care items to children who have been removed from dangerous home situations particularly where methamphetamine has been made.
In less than two weeks, nearly 280 employees brought enough items for 40 kits along with $750.
Last year the DCIC distributed 120 kits to children in DeKalb County and another 60 kits in Noble County.
