August Was Soggy

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- August had some up and down temperatures, but it was wetter than normal. 6.04" fell, nearly two and a half inches above normal. The wettest day was the 22nd when 2.33" fell. The month started rather cool. The coolest day was the 15th when the temperature fell to 43. Th last two weeks of the month were above normal. There were no 90 degree days but it did hit 89 on the 25th. The first week of September will start warm, but the monthly outlook has the month being cooler than normal.
