Blazing Fire Damages New Fellowship Church

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne fire crews saved a community church from a blaze on the north side of town.

It happened at the New Fellowship Church in the 900 block of Putnam Street.

Shortly after 1:30 Friday morning, flames were seen coming from the basement of the church.

Firefighters put the blaze out within minutes of arriving to the scene.

No one was in the building and the cause is still under investigation.
