Whitley County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Breaking the burn ban in Whitley County could lead to jail time.
The Whitley County prosecutor says anyone caught violating the burn ban will be charged with a Class B misdemeanor punishable by up to 180 days in jail or a fine of up to $1,000.
In the city of Wabash, officials have postponed the fireworks display until the Labor Day.
