Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Indiana Michigan Power partnered with Fort Wayne's Early Childhood Alliance to introduce the Bright Start Right Start program to area educators.
Bright Start Right Start is an intensive program designed to help Pre-K teachers fuel children's fascination with their world and develop a foundation for later success in K-12 science learning.
Kelli Shrewsberry with Bright Start Right Start says, “Early childhood typically, especially in science, we like to say it's the early years of promise. And a lot of times we see literacy and math initiative not so much science. So we are really kind of excited to be able to foster, what we say are very natural scientists, who are four and five-year-olds, who are asking good questions.”
Thursday’s event was devoted to electricity and electrical safety.
