UNDATED (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The latest report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows more than 2,600 total cases of West Nile this year.

118 deaths have been reported including 3 in the Hoosier state.

The numbers reflect a 35 percent increase over last week's West Nile report.

Experts predict cases will continue to rise through October but say it appears the illness has peaked.
