Cancer Patient Found Disoriented and 110 Miles Away from Destination

Warsaw, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Missing from Indianapolis, cancer patient found safe west of Warsaw.

Just before noon on Monday, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Sheriff located a parked vehicle as the side of the road along U.S. 30 near County Road 350 West with its driver, later identified as Ralph A. Hayes, 61, of Indianapolis standing at the side of the road disorientated and unaware that he had left Marion County.

Hayes had been reported missing by his wife in Indianapolis. Several of the medications that Hayes was prescribed for treating his lung cancer have varying effects.

Hayes was originally en route to a 7:30 a.m. cancer treatment appointment and was completely unaware that he had traveled north of Indianapolis by almost 110 miles.
