Fort Wayne police are searching for two men who stole a car after pointing a gun at the driver.

According to our partner in news the Journal Gazette, around 4:00am, a man was walking to his car at the Speedway gas station at 1222 N. Coliseum Blvd. when two men approached him.

One of the men asked the driver for a cigarette. As the victim offered him one, the man pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at him.

The victim was able to run behind the gas station, but when he emerged his brown Buick LeSabre was gone.

Police say they are waiting for surveillance video from the gas station as they continue their investigation.
