Car Thieves Send Police on Early Morning Chase

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The search for a stolen vehicle ends after an early morning police chase.

Early Tuesday morning a stolen Chevy Caprice was reported missing from the 900 block of Rockhill Street. Shortly after four, police spotted the vehicle near downtown which led to a chase.

The driver of the stolen Caprice crashed the vehicle near the intersection of Parnell and Spy Run Extended at the Glenbrook Rehab and Nursing Center.

At least one person was arrested after a short foot pursuit and according to scanner traffic, one person was taken to the hospital after being tased.
