Cass County, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A train and semi-tractor trailer collided in Cass County Monday morning, closing State Road 25 at County Road 175 West.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says the train clipped the back of the truck and carried it about 1,000 feet. The driver did have minor injuries. The truck driver told officers he was going north through the intersection, but did not see the northeast bound train.
The tracks were damaged in the crash and are closed until repairs can be made.
Traffic is being diverted from State Road 25 onto County Road 300 South and also onto U.S. 24/35.
