Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Fort Wayne police are investigating a morning robbery at the Chase Bank on Lower Huntington Road.
Witnesses told police that a male subject entered the bank just after 11 a.m., handed a teller a note demanding money and threatened to do harm. The subject fled the bank property on foot with an undisclosed amount of money heading eastbound.
A K-9 unit was called to the scene to begin tracking the subject. The subject’s trail was lost and it is believed he entered into an awaiting get-away vehicle.
Fort Wayne police issued the following suspect description: male/black, 5'10" - 6', described as having a thin build; last seen wearing a green-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a blue and white hat with ear flaps.
The suspect didn’t display a weapon and no injuries were reported during the incident.
