FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced to 78 years in prison for a Christmas day shooting last year.

An Allen County Judge handed down the sentence yesterday to 32-year-old Seneca Lapsley. A jury convicted him last month on two charges of aggravated battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, along with other charges.

Last Christmas morning, a fight broke out at the "Sports and Spirits" bar on North Anthony and East Wayne. The bouncer escorted two men outside. Then the men started to shoot through the window of the bar. One person was hospitalized in critical condition, another in fair condition.
