Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The founder and president of Sweetwater Sound Inc., Chuck Surack, has acquired the assets of Longe Optical.

Longe Optical currently has four stores in Fort Wayne and one in Kendallville. Surack told Fort Wayne Business Weekly that he’ll retain the roughly 20 employees and will work on marketing and expanding the business.

Surack believes Longe can provide better service than other optical competitors since there is an optometrist at each store and access to a state-of-the-art lab.
