Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- It's been almost a month since the first violent storms hit Fort Wayne.
Mayor Tom Henry told the city that cleaning up fallen trees and debris will take a few months.
City officials say they're making great progress on cleaning up the debris from the June 29th storm.
In order to pick-up the debris, they split the city up into 50-sections. They say they only have 5 or 6 sections left to tackle.
So far they have spent $600,000 on clean-up alone.
The damage caused by the storm to the city will cost an estimated $2 million. The cost includes damage to traffic signals and street lights as well as over-time for city employees.
A number of lights are still out in various neighborhoods---which they say will cost another $300,000.
Fort Wayne also has over 2,000 acres of parks. It will cost $450,000 to take care of the parks, and the city will deal with the parks after they're finished with neighborhoods.
