FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne will be the first city in Indiana to have access to Xfinity WiFi hotspots, announced Comcast earlier today.

Fort Wayne will see the first of the planned 80,000 hotspots scheduled to pop up all over the state this summer. The service will be able to be accessed by Comcast Xfinity subscribers by selecting "xfinitywifi" in the list of available networks in an area, for no additional charge.

Fort Wayne is expected to have around 13,000 active hotspots by early summer.
