Fort Wayne, Ind (21Alive) - Not only INDOT and City Crews, but also commercial plow trucks are out and about.

Many of them push snow from business parking lots, and the same caution needs to be taken just as if you see a plow on the road.

When the snow continues to come down, they make several passes through areas where they are working.

They warn Drivers not to count on the plows looking out for you, because they've got other things commanding their attention.

"The people that I watch out for are the guys plowing cause we're trying to watch what we're doing and they like to jump ahead of us or follow us into piles actually," says Mark Whitney, who runs a commercial snow plow, "stay back at least three car lengths and that gives a little margin of error for everybody."

The most important thing to remember is to be patient and slow down.
