Coroner IDs Fatal Drowning Victim

Allen County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Allen County's Coroner's Office has released the name of a man who drowned early Sunday morning in an Allen County pond.

The body of 23-year-old Stephen Eicher Junior of Grabill was found underwater in the 2100 block of Notestine Road. Eicher was attending a party nearby when he left the party and jumped into the pond.

Authorities declared him dead at the scene.

His death has been ruled accidental.
