FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day for Saturday, April 28th, from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

In the past 13 months the DEA, and local law-enforcement agencies have removed 995,185 pounds (498.5 tons) of medication from circulation.

This event is an opportunity for those who missed the previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications.

The prescription drugs can be dropped off in front of the Federal Building at 1300 S. Harrison Street on April 28th.
