Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Police are looking for a man who threatened a Walgreen’s store employee to get drugs during an early morning robbery on the city’s northeast side.

Just after 1 a.m. police were dispatched to the Walgreen’s store in the 6200 block of Stellhorn Road in reference to a robbery. Police say the suspect approached the pharmacy counter where he presented a note demanding Methadone and Fentanyl. The suspect then fled the store on foot. Though the threat of harm was made, a weapon was not displayed and there were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s and weighing between 150- 160 lbs, with brown hair and last seen wearing a black Carhartt jacket with a light blue hooded-sweatshirt under the jacket, and blue jeans.

While the robbery remains under investigation anyone knowing the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the City of Fort Wayne Police Department at (260) 427-1222 or CrimeStoppers at (260) 436-STOP (7867).
