FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A touch of elegance from long ago has returned to the Embassy Theatre, thanks to a local donation.

Even long-time Embassy goers have trouble remembering when there were curtains and drapes adorning the doors and mirrors on the 80+ year-old theatre, let alone when they were removed.

But now historically accurate burgundy and gold-corded draperies are being installed this week throughout the building, softening the edges and hiding doorframes.

The work and drapery came from local business Restore-It which is located on North Wells Street.
