Early Morning Fire Damages Home

Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne Fire crews were called to the 3500 block of Bowser Street at 7:33am Friday. Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the structure. They were able to located the fire in the bedroom of the home and put out the flames within twelve minutes. A search of the home revealed no one at the residence at the time of the fire. A passerby working in the area saw the smoke and called it in. Officials say there is fire damage to the badroom and smoke damage throughout the house. There were no injuries reported. The fire remains under investigation.
