El Día Del Niño Celebrated In Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A Fort Wayne church is bringing an international celebration to the Summit City on Thursday.

Amistad Cristiano Center, 1701 Capitol Ave., held El Día Del Niño, which localizes the woldwide recognition of Children's Day.

Organizers say El Día Del Niño celebrates the family and promotes education.

The event had games for kids, food and music and information about social services.

Amistad Cristiana is a Christian congregation whose name means "Christian Friendship."
