Emergency Rooms Are Busy As The Heat Brings Illnesses

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) –The temperature went down a bit on Monday, but over the past 10 days local emergency rooms have been busy.

Parkview reported 15 to 20 heat-related illnesses and Lutheran Health Network also treated 23 people with heat sickness between all of their hospitals.

The patients were reporting they felt dizzy or it was hard for them to breath.
